Hank Jones, who plays the lovable Gudger Larkin in the movie, joined the show to share some incredible stories and behind-the-scenes anecdotes about this timeless classic. This was the last live-action movie that Walt Disney worked on and he was on set only two days before his death, during the filming of one of the scenes Hank Jones was in. This was a JOY to listen to! Hank was my dad’s best friend... my surrogate uncle... a brilliant, compassionate man! I never truly understood why Laurel and Hardy skits were abounding in our house - but now I know! I’m so grateful to still have Hank in my life... and for podcasts to keep these stories alive! Thank you for this trip down memory lane... those were truly ”the days my friend”... and now I shall go introduce my baby grandson to Blackbear’s Ghost!
